Here is a closer look at my process.
Reverse Logistics Association
The Reverse Logistics Association was (bought out by National Retail Federation in 2025) a worldwide association working with companies to help connect retailers to connect with refurbishing, recycling, reuse-based organizations and companies. My position on the team was to define the brand systems and create a myriad of creative materials including:
- Bi-monthly trade magazine – I did the entire layout and design
- Worldwide events in Atlanta and Amsterdam
- Annual expo in Las Vegas
- App interface icons and graphics
- Website graphics and icons
- Infographics
- Templates for PowerPoint presentations
- Social Media Graphics

Infographic – Reverse Logistics
There was no existing graphic that really explained what reverse logistics was. For RLA Executives to spearhead the growth of the association, they asked that I create one. I met weekly with a committee of executives and industry experts for ideas and feedback. Below you’ll find some of the iterations and the final product.
Step 1: Gain Understanding
I start by doing research. Reading industry concepts, and discussing with executives and industry leaders to define ideas and begin to gain understanding of the concepts they are trying to convey.
Step 2: Sketch
Next, I go to my sketchbook with a pencil and begin working out ideas.

Step 3: Digitize My Sketches
We met and discussed what concepts were working or needed modification. After we have revised ideas, I begin to digitize my sketch in Adobe Illustrator.

Taking feedback from the team, I modified images and labels accordingly

Final Product:

Aftwerwards, they requested a black and white “simple” ersion.
